This year we are trying something new, to cut down the hand over time.
Handovers should take 2 hrs + and very often take longer. Given that many of our customers have been quite late arriving at the mooring, especially at the beginning and end of the season, handovers have often gone well into hours of darkness.

We have designed a virtual handover of all the basic operations of the yacht and a simple test form.
The virtual handover is not an easy option and we would expect that you spend as much time completing it as you would on the yacht itself. This will give you more quality time onboard. The handover test will be automatically sent to us for checking if we are happy that you have the basics, the online handover price will apply. The handover test should be sent aprox 7-10 days before you take the yacht. You can always return to the virtual handover anytime as the better you know the boat the more pleasant your charter.You can of course opt for the practical handover in full, but that will be charged as list below.

Note: A practical handover of safety equipment, navigation equipment, and engines will still be done even though covered in the virtual handover.

Note: To our regular and repeat customers the virtual hand over will be helpful to you too. But give us a call and we will confirm if you need to submit the test or not.
